Principal and Co-Founder
Waylon, founding partner of Sunstone, has been instrumental to the firm’s successful completion of brokerage, capital placement and consulting assignments. He is also founding partner of Sunstone Mortgage Capital, a sister company of Sunstone, in 2013.
Prior to founding Sunstone, Waylon spent 6 years with Marcus & Millichap, where he closed over 50 transactions totaling more than $100,000,000.
Waylon received his Bachelor of Business Administrations in Marketing at Lamar University. Waylon resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and three children.

Robert, founding partner of Sunstone, has been instrumental to the firm’s successful completion of brokerage, capital placement and consulting assignments. He is also the co-founder of Sunstone Mortgage Capital, a sister company of Sunstone, in 2013.
Prior to founding Sunstone, Robert relocated his family from Sydney, Australia to Chicago, Illinois to develop a national platform for the Manufactured Housing/Recreational Vehicle Group at CB Richard Ellis (CBRE).
Prior to CBRE, Robert managed and operated a large Caravan Park portfolio in Australia, with the Hampshire Property Group. While living abroad, he owned and operated a franchise mortgage company, Capital Trust.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business.

Kolman, founding partner of Sunstone, has been instrumental to the firm’s successful completion of brokerage, capital placement and consulting assignments. He is also founding partner of Sunstone Mortgage Capital, a sister company of Sunstone, in 2013.
Prior to founding Sunstone, Kolman worked at Marcus & Millichap, focusing on brokerage of Mobile Home properties. Kolman assisted clients with fine-tuning their property disposition/acquisition and investment strategies.
Kolman attended Indiana University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Finance. Kolman, originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, resides in Chicago, Illinois.
Casey Thom, CCIM
Director, Houston Office
Casey has extensive background as a real estate investor, founding multiple companies spanned across asset classes. He began to focus his investments in Manufactured Housing Communities, allowing him to understand the challenges and opportunities park owners face.
He has since shifted gears to focus on park brokerage Formerly of Marcus & Millichap, Casey joined Sunstone in 2016. Since joining Sunstone Casey has closed transactions equaling more than 90 communities in 10 states.
Casey’s deep knowledge helps him understand the nuances of the product he sells and to give the best possible advice to sellers and investors crossing over, into, or out of Manufactured Housing Communities He often creates win-win solutions to difficult issues that could otherwise sidetrack deals. An educator at heart, Mr. Thom co-founded the TexCo event for community owners and is a published author about issues in the manufactured housing space.
Casey resides in League City, Texas with his family.
Hudson is a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Before graduating from Arkansas, he played two years of baseball for Richland College. Hudson joined Sunstone in December of 2017.
Prior to joining Sunstone, he spent 1 year at the third largest IT Staffing Firm in the US, Insight Global. While working at Insight Global, Hudson produced in recruiting top IT talent for Fortune 500 companies. After a few months of recruiting, Hudson transitioned into Account Management, where he developed relationships with IT Directors to fulfill their hiring needs. Since graduating from the University of Arkansas, Hudson has also been managing and coaching a travel baseball team for the Texas Stix Baseball Club.
With a background in Account Management and Coaching, Hudson has joined the team to aid in the completion of brokerage, consulting assignments, and client acquisition.
Prior to Sunstone, Ross Mueller worked as a Market Develop Manager for Clayton Homes. During his 5 year tenure at Clayton, Ross acted as a liaison between the home manufacturing facility and local, regional, and national community operators. Ross managed numerous relationships with varying product/home needs to help consistently grow Clayton’s community wholesale book of business.
Ross, a graduate from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Business Administration, has called multiple places in the Southeast home and resides in Tennessee.
Stefen Krizsa, CFA
Broker & Chief Financial Analyst
Stefen performs the financial analysis and underwriting of properties using operating statements, market knowledge, and proprietary valuation models. His work helps aid client acquisition and divestiture decisions and assists with asset valuation maximization strategies. In addition, Stefen performs market research for the firm’s various projects. Stefen received his Illinois Brokers License in 2017.
Prior to Sunstone, Stefen worked at Sabino Investment Management, LLC. As a Securities Research Analyst, he analyzed financial statements of publicly-traded companies across several industries, gained experience in global economic research and monitored investment feasibility. He also made investment recommendations to final portfolio allocations. He also spent 4 years as an Analyst at Marcus & Millichap, assisting in the investment sales of apartment complexes, single-tenant retail, and office buildings.
Stefen, also the Financial Analyst for Sunstone Mortgage Capital, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Stefen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management and resides in Chicago, Illinois.
Bradley Gordon, Jr.
Prior to Sunstone Bradley was the corporate financial analyst and operations manager at, Adora POS, a software startup company based in California. During this time, he was responsible for analyzing the company’s financial performance to assist the company in reaching their financial goals as well as managing the company’s support and installation team.
Bradley has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from in Finance The University of South Florida’s (USF) Muma College of Business. In his last year of college Bradley was invited into USF’s Applied Securities Analysis Program where he enhanced his financial modeling, asset valuation, and market research skills.
Chief Operating Officer
Julie executes the firm’s marketing efforts, human resource functions, special projects, and event planning. Her work includes managing events of all sizes — from large conventions to client appreciation trips and celebrations. Julie received her Illinois Brokers License in 2016.
Prior to Sunstone, Julie worked at Groupon as a Sales Associate in the travel division where she managed a portfolio of over 450 hotels and achieved revenue goals monthly.
Before joining Groupon, Julie worked at Giving Tree Associates, a consulting firm for nonprofit organizations. At that position, she created processes and strategies to help clients successfully meet and exceed their fundraising goals. In addition, Julie supported the team’s principals and produced all marketing materials for the company.
Julie graduated from Indiana University with honors and holds a Bachelor of Science degree. She resides in Chicago, Illinois.
